Philippine Standard Time:

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 1073 and UNESCO’s declaration that October 5 of every year is designated as the National Teacher’s Day and World Teacher’s Day.  This is a special day to honor teachers and their role in molding the children, youth and adults through the life-long learning process despite of pandemic.  This year theme is “Gurong Filipino para sa Batang Filipino.”

Relative to this, our school celebrated this special day in a peculiar way and that is a virtual program, simple yet meaningful with the help of GPTA officers. It is  “A Gratitude Night for Teachers, Thanks for all you Do”. The celebration was started with a prayer. Followed by the singing of nationalistic song.  Our Principal, Mrs. Evangeline E. Malicdem gave the opening remarks and heartfelt greetings and gratitude to all teachers of TES 1.

The GPTA officers prepared games and raffle prizes. It was a night filled of joy and laughter despite of little sadness in the eyes of the unsung heroes.  We enjoyed the night too by reminiscing the normal way celebration through Audio Visual Presentation.

There were warm greeters from alumni and Barangay officials, intermission songs and most of all was the recitation of Prayers for teachers from a grade 5 pupil Daniella Riel Dimacuha.

Our sincerest thanks to our host in this event, Jhastine Mae Aguilar to  all GPTA officers, raffle sponsors, teachers and to our principal who shared her most precious time to give honors to all shapers of mind and soul,  the  most essential element of our society – they’re the dream makers, the world-changers, and the legacy-leavers. “ HAPPY TEACHERS’ DAY, THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO.”
