Nutrition Month 2025 Celebration Narrative Report


The Nutrition Month 2025 celebration at Tambo Elementary School I with the theme “Food and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”was a comprehensive and engaging event that promoted healthy eating and nutritional awareness among students from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

Detailed Activity Report


July 4, 2025: Nutrition Icon Parade
– Students dressed up as various nutrition heroes and healthy food characters
– Aimed to raise awareness about the importance of proper nutrition
– Encouraged creativity and learning about nutritional role models

July 28, 2025: “Masustansyang Pagkain Kulayan Natin”
– Activity for Kindergarten to Grade 2 students
– Coloring activity focused on healthy foods
– Objectives:
1. Introduce young learners to nutritious food options
2. Develop artistic skills
3. Create awareness about healthy eating

July 29, 2025: “Pinggang Pinoy Buuin Natin”
– Activity for Grade 3-4
– Activity that teaching balanced meal composition
– Students learned about proper food group proportions

“Poster Making Contest”
– Activity for Grade 5-6:
– Students created informative posters about nutrition
– Encouraged critical thinking and creative expression about healthy eating.

July 30, 2025: Food Preparation Contest
– Participants: Grade 4-6 students
– Team composition: 2 members per team

Highlights:  
1. Practical application of nutritional knowledge
2. Preparing healthy and balanced snacks.
3. Teamwork and skills development in preparing food.

Weekly Healthy Initiatives “Healthy Baon Day” every Fridays of July
– Encouraged students to bring nutritious packed lunches or snacks
– Promoted healthy eating habits outside of school

July 31, 2025 Culminating Activity
– Awards ceremony recognizing outstanding participants
– Celebrated achievements in nutrition awareness
– Reinforced the importance of healthy eatingThe Nutrition Month celebration successfully educated students about the importance of proper nutrition while providing engaging and fun learning experiences.
