OKADA Manila Turnover Ceremony

A TURN-OVER CEREMONY was held last Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 9:00 in the morning. It was attended by the learners from Grades 5 and 6, Teaching and Non-Teaching staff of Tambo Elementary School-I, our OIC-Principal, Miss Jennifer R. Delos Santos, and our partner/stakeholder/special guests from OKADA MANILA. The event was hosted by Miss Jocelyn R. Vizcarra, T-II.
The program started with the singing of the National Anthem, and followed by an opening prayer via Audio Visual Presentation. The welcome address was given by our hardworking OIC-Principal, Miss Delos Santos. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude for having OKADA MANILA as one major partner in giving a quality education to our learners. Afterwards, selected Grade 2 pupils showed their grace with their Folk Dance to the tune of Itik-Itik.
Mr. Ian Mariano, Assistant Director of Tiger Resorts, Leisure and Entertainment, Inc. (TRLEI) and Ms. Monette Varona, Senior Relationship Management Officer, Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) gave their message of support. Both, gave their positive feedback with the school’s performance and improved facilities.
The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between Tambo Elementary School – I, represented by the OIC Principal and OKADA MANILA, represented by their officials was solemnly and successfully done after the turn over of eighty (80) plastic armchairs for the classrooms and distribution of sixty (90) pieces school supplies for our Grade 5 & 6 learners.
To give our sincere gratitude and appreciation, Ms. Jennifer R. Delos Santos, together with the Master Teachers, Miss Marichu M. Contreras and Miss Imelda T. Albito, awarded the Certificate of Appreciation to OKADA MANILA and Philippine Business for Social Progress for their valuable support.
To break the ice, Aloycious James P. Geralin, a Grade I pupil, presented his talent by singing the latest hit song “Pretty Little Baby.” With his charm and wit, he was well-applauded by the attendees.
As expected, every beginning has its ending. With that, Miss Imelda T. Albito closed the program expressing full gratitude to our partner OKADA MANILA in behalf of Tambo Elementary School – I.
