Tambo Elementary SchoolvUnit I, conducted the State of School Address (SOSA) held on July 5, 2025 at 7:30 am in TES I Multipurpose Hall, hosted by Mrs. Ma. Cecelia P. Geralin.
This was started with a Lupang Hinirang, prayer led by Mrs. Loila V. Aranez, vision, mission and core values by Miss Aileen Kristel O. Bernardo. And school virtual tour. Followed by the SOSA of Ma’am Jennifer R. Delos Santos, OIC – Principal of TES I.
Ma’am Delos Santos presented all the achievements and accomplishment of the school as she subsequently showed via power point presentation, the school profile, the performance indicator, the school report card for the school year 2025–2026. As stated there the increase of enrolment from 434 pupils of the school year 2024–2025 to 446 pupils for the school year 2025–2026. She also showed the learners winning awards and recognitions.
Next is the School WINS Program (Wash in School) basically stands for water, sanitation, and hygiene in school, the program in the Deped that promotes correct hygiene and sanitation practices among children and a clean environment in schools to keep learners safe and happy.
After the principal, the selected pupils in grade 2 had intermission dance number (Itik–Itik).
Mrs. Erwina P. Abocado our school clerk, presented also the health awareness , the importance of deworming, tamang paraan ng paghuhugas ng kamay, ToDOH Laban Kontra Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID 19).
Some of the pupils also evaluated their health and nutritional status as within the normal status which was one of the attainments of the school because of the feeding programs initiated to address issue on the nutrition of the pupils.
Our guidance teacher, Mrs. Imelda T. Albito MT–I, shared “Mga alituntunin ng Paaralang Tambo – I”. She emphasized the importance of discipline and respect inside the school premises, the proper wearing of school uniform and ID are everyday observed to easily recognize each learner, child protection policy Deped Order no. 40, s. 2012 to safeguarding children from all forms of harm and ensuring their well–being. Focuses on upholding the rights of children as well as the Bully–Free Worry–Free School. She also showed the time schedule in every grade level.
Next, Mrs. Eva V. Necosia, teacher III, continued the presentation of students organizations such as SELG, NDEP and Club Organizations in English, Science , Sports, Performing Arts, Red Cross, BSP and GSP.
Also, Mrs. Marichu M. Contreras MT-I, talked about the school zero waste campaign. A zero waste effort to minimize waste sent to landfills . These campaigns aim to change consumption and production patterns to reduce waste at its source and divert waste from disposal.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Jonalyn A. Dimacuha the SPTA treasurer showed the SPTA 2024-2025 financial accomplishment report. She discussed about the king and queen of TES I, projects and expenses. Their projects are stainless steel gate and modern school board. Also, she shared the allocation for the next SPTA Officers.
Lastly, Mrs. Nova P. Matias teacher III, gave a closing remarks. She thanked everyone for their time, participation and contribution that makes the SOSA possible. It was a productive session.
